There tomorrow. Same as I said before Port Vale game can't start with 4 forwards. Gore back. Hall should strip fitter so should have more options in midfield.

      Away end sold out.
I'll be there but know quite a few who won't
There could be more away fans than our lot tomorrow ☹️

I?ll be surprised if martha hasn?t infected half the squad by now from his globetrotting to where flu and covid is rife by the sounds of it. So he won?t be playing. Get well soon lad. (That continent has that seasonal time of it)

We might be going down but a double over them would be nice.
We need to turn up though.

There's a serious lack of fight and character in this current Barnsley team and the HC is of questionable ability who never seems to learn from his many mistakes .

There's more than a hint of disarray surrounding the club right now , to say the least .

An Exeter victory at Plymouth in the early game puts them only 2 points behind us and the last relegation spot very much in play .

Throw the poor form in to the mix at this stage of the season and the disarray and we could be in massive trouble should we lose this afternoons game .

It goes without saying that we roll our sleeves up and at least come away with a point this afternoon .

Rotherham Utd and Barnsley have met each other 82 times in all competitions since 1925/26, with 23 of those fixtures being played in the old County Cup. Up until the early eighties there was little to separate Barnsley and Rotherham. But after RotherhamÂ’s home defeat in the 1980 FA Cup, the balance shifted quiet dramatically in Barnsley's favour, from 1980 to 2026 Rotherham endured a long, poor spell in the fixture, winning only three of the next 21 meetings.
The first match since 1925 came in the semi-final of the County Cup, a 3-2 win at Millmoor on 30th January 1928. John Clayton, Charles Chilton and a Joe Scott penalty for Rotherham, two goals from Frank Eaton for Barnsley.

                  Home Record
In all competitions at home to Barnsley, Rotherham have won 52% (21), drawing 15% (6), and losing 33% (13). Rotherham at home have averaged 1.60 goals per game compared to BarnsleyÂ’s 1.10.

The lowest attendance came in the semi final of the County Cup on 8 November 1937, Jimmy Reid for Rotherham and Doug Hunt with two goals for Barnsley, 1,000 in attendance.

Barnsley aren't very good, much like the rest of the league really.
So a win today followed by 3 more,1 draw and a defeat would give us the magic 50 points.
There are currently 3 teams above us who haven't reached milestone yet,and they all have less games left,so if one of these goes on a dire run.......well.
It's the hope that kills ya.

Going to need 5 wins, 1draw minimum then hope 2 of the sides above us falter enough.

We have beaten them in as few friendlies over the years, and today is virtually a non-event. Clutching at straws here.

Massive trouble? FFS. I suggest you look at our predicament and I don't just mean the league table.

There are 7 teams below you who are trying to avoid the final relegation spot and you have either 2 or 3 games in hand on every single one of them. Exeter won't win at Plymouth. And I've just noticed that you have to play all of the bottom 3, starting with us today.

Bet 365 are offering Odds of 100-1 for Barnsley to be relegated if you genuinely think you might end up in massive trouble.
