Rotherham United reserves are to participate in the 2025/26 Central League Cup.
The club have opted out of joining the EFL Central League.
But will join the Central League Cup, to provide players who are on the fringe
of the first team, alongside some players from the academy.
Early stages of the competition consist of a Round Robin Group, similar to the
Vertu Trophy.
The winner of each group are guaranteed progressing into the knockout stages
of the competition.
In the Millers group this year are -
Stoke City ---- Wigan Athletic ---- Bolton Wanderers
Confirmed fixtures -
Home ---- Millers v Stoke City ......... Tuesday 9th September 2025 ---- 2pm kick-off
Away ---- Wigan Athletic v Millers ...... Tuesday 14th October 2025 ---- 1pm kick-off
Home ---- Millers v Bolton Wanderers -- Tuesday 21st October 2025 --- 2pm kick-off
