1 point away from sealing his 5th promotion.........not bad for a coach thrown in at the deep end.

TLC, it is Warnock but with 8 promotions also the most games as a professional Manager with 1626, beating Dario Gradi's record of 1601Originally posted by Townerslovechild View PostIf he manages this what a start to managerial career.
Isn't the record 10 promotions by Warnock, could see him beating that.
Good luck Warney.

Oh to have him back here. Warne, barker and hammy.
Some on here would call warne spineless, right now, yet he delivered better times over a longer period, promotions, and with different clubs, when the same people want sacking after RUFC sackings, because of bad results and relegation - which means all they are really bothered about is winning and promotion…exactly what warne and co delivered…..spineless supporters actually. Bonkers.

Bromley lost tonight to Salford who we tanked 7-2 in the Vertu Trophy competition.
Salford now move up to 3rd an auto promotion position.
With Bromley now losing it paves a way for Warney and the Dons to claim the title IF they win their final 2 games.

Or even if they don't - depending on what Bromley do in their last gameOriginally posted by Brin View PostBromley lost tonight to Salford who we tanked 7-2 in the Vertu Trophy competition.

Congratulations to Warney and his crew. That's 5 promotions on his CV now and his stock continues to rise.
IF and when our takeover happens, would the new owners consider bringing him back? Would they know enough about him to even interview him? Would he want to come back? Would the owners of MK Dons allow him to be Interviewed?

Oh, it must be another lovely week in South Yorkshire witnessing the "Warne-ball" magic happen from the comfort of a division below . It?s almost poetic, isn't it?
While Tony Stewart is busy playing "Musical Chairs: Manager Edition" and looking for someone who can actually stick the landing, Paul Warne is out here collecting promotions like they?re loyalty stamps at a coffee shop.
Here?s a little salt for the wounds:
* The Chairman?s Masterclass: You really have to hand it to the Rotherham board. Letting the guy who practically invented the League One promotion blueprint walk away, only to watch him replace you in the league two years later? That?s some 4D chess right there.
* The "Toxic" Brigade: For all the fans who spent years moaning about his "boring" tactics or his "nice guy" interviews?how?s that exciting, high-octane league one relegation battle taste? Turns out, "boring" looks a lot like "winning" when you?re looking at it from the wrong end of the table.
* The Great Swap: There?s something deeply satisfying about the symmetry of it all. Warne takes a team up, while Rotherham slides down to take their parking spot. It?s not just a promotion; it?s a formal eviction notice. Did we get what we deserved?
I guess the grass isn't always greener on the other side?it?s just greener wherever Paul Warne happens to be standing.
Like many others, I knew we'd miss the bloke.
Good luck to him.

I think that'd be highly unlikely, don't you?Originally posted by Brin View PostCongratulations to Warney and his crew. That's 5 promotions on his CV now and his stock continues to rise.

I've heard he's on the same money at MK as he was with Derby. Whether that is true or not we'll never know but if you look at how many players they've 'persuaded' to drop into L2 from a higher level then you could quite believe it. Mendez-Laing for example, despite his age, must be an awesome player at that level (10 goals).
One other thing. MK Dons have been absolutely ravaged with injuries this season which makes the job PW has done there look even better.
