  • Morcambe F.C. - New Owners

Morcambe F.C have new owners, having been suspended by the EFL & having missed 3 games of the season.
The new owners Punjab Warriors have been approved so the EFL will lift the suspension on the club.

Perhaps the new owners will be Sikh-ing new players. 🤔 😄

The suspension has been lifted but the transfer embargo remains until wages are paid.
Its also the National League ELK not the EFL.

Thanks for that crookadile, but the bit I read said EFL that's why I put it, so a mis-print by someone.
I will have to double check in future

Before celebrating fans should look at the make up of their board, their assets and the information registered with companies house

I wonder if they have any connection with the team ALF played for. They also owned the club in aus if memory serves

Well done Aldershot, pity some of the so called bigger clubs don't have a look over their shoulder sometimes.
