Not sure how to do that - the article says that instead of investment it is shaping up as a full takeover - and Millmoor to be developed as a training facility - announcement supposedly in the very near future…

Not sure how viable Millmoor would be to use every day, would need a huge amount spending on it to make it any better than Roundwood.
I wonder what the situation is with Roundwood, isn`t it owned by British/Liberty/Whoever Steels ?
This business will soon be owned by someone else, where does this leave the training ground, how about the new Rotherham owners trying to buy this, would be a much better bet than crumbling, asbestos riden Millmoor.

On the contrary, Millmoor would be the ideal site for a Training complex. There are massses of land surrounding the ground and two extra pitches could be made. The Hull family, being proper Millers fans, would I am sure be very supportive. They have the expertise to clear the area ready for construction and with close proximity to the NYS it ticks all the boxes.

I agree but it would take a hell of a lot of investment to do all that.....and then there's all the buildings that would be required to complete a suitable training complex.
              Multi millions methinks.

I don't believe any of the sporting facilities at Roundwood can ever be sold. They are held in a perpetual trust.

Insane to even think of redeveloping Millmoor.
                  Why throw money at that?
Better...and cheaper....to buy several acres somewhere nice and green and start from scratch rather than have to clean up a sorry site like Millmoor.
Its proximity to Nys is irrelevant.
                  It won't happen

It certainly ties in with the Millmoor thing, Ron Hull having taken over the Booth site I?ve heard they are going to flatten it all so the training ground thing sounds feasible but like has been said would not be cheap to do the land around there will be very contaminated but would be excellent as a training facility due to its size

Why would you bother doing all that work at Millmoor, for a club that barely gets 6,000 season ticket holders?

Perhaps they should increase the capacity at NYS while they're at it.......😉

Developing Millmoor will give the crock players another excuse for being injured, with chest infections breathing in all the car fumes.
And other club scouts can stand on the bridge and watch us train.
