What takeover? Until it's official it's only rumours. Got to able to put the funds in same as TS does to balance the books especially with our fan base. If not there's a danger we could go back to Millers 05 days leading to going into administration.

I don't think the redevelopment of Millmoor would be a bad thing. the report i read said academy teams. that would give them a good place to train and play as well as a chance to watch them. Be good to add some astro pitches outside for all weather stuff, juniors etc as well. Get kids playing in RUFC colours.

I presume Roundwood would stay for first team. The backers... different matter. the way these things are you have to be a skeptic but in principle, decent idea. Plus RH can't do anything with the ground, it has to be used for sport so if they can divest it elsewhere, why not?

It is clear after the last few years that without changes across the club we are in trouble. The removal of the players that have burnt TS money and not delivered is good news. It is also good news that LC has helped the club identify some real talent in our young players and we have acted on that to get them signed up, shame the the previous bloke wasn't able to do this even though we were told how good he was with youth players.
I think it is great news that there are people interested in our club, despite all the reasons there is not to want to own/invest in a northern towns club surrounded by other "massive" clubs, I do have faith in TS doing the correct due diligence, even if that faith is seen as misguided by others.
I think the fact that the consortium seem to focus on youth development is a positive as well.
Although I am very disappointed that not a great deal has happened in the last week or so, I think the next two weeks will tell us more one way or another.

Totally agree with DM's post.If the investment happens, and if my "stable lad" is correct there are a few hiccups on the road, but it might have legs. Probably have to wait for our owner.

Been told we are weeks rather than days away from this coming to fruition.

Better...and cheaper....to buy several acres somewhere nice and green and start from scratch rather than have to clean up a sorry site like Millmoor.
Its proximity to Nys is irrelevant.
                    It won't happen

Seems strange about Millmoor being a training ground.
I posted new thread about the Millers buying Millmoor on the 6th February 2026.
Has someone thought about it, or just fabrication.
I'll bump the post I did

I would imagine these things take time. This is not something that we have much of are the supporters are willing to accept. We don?t want TS but we don?t want to wait to get rid. We also have a massive rebuild that?s desperately needed. That?s RUFC

New owners could take months, new investment not so long, what we need is a new manager.....right now.
Otherwise any new owners could own a non league club.
