Does TS care about this club moving forward?

Have just listened to SM and TS on radio Wednesday.
Seems tio me that supporters fall into two camps. I'm the listen to the case and take a developing view based on outcomes.
The other camp is to see a conspiracy; that things are never what they seem to be.
I was more encouraged than not by what TS said. Yes, there are problems ahead, and some are significant.
We shall see...
UTM!

To answer your question.Originally posted by Stovicmiller View Postwhile it?s good that things are finally moving it will not make a difference while the Stewart?s are in charge.
I did not think he would pull it off, but in a way, hats off. (But how much has it cost?) and what implications on a squad budget?
Finally moving?
Simpson is not coming, so we have no immediate move on that. Steve has “some ideas of who”.
Working already before with staff on recruitment? Then really the announcement delay could have been for tony handshake?
Will not have spent much time on it.
He is saying he is going to be more than just a ‘consultant’ and needs to be “aligned” with someone.
Doom and gloom?
Well, you said that not me. That is not my view. Great concern, yes.
Great doubts given the position we are in, timeframe, mixing a manager and a head, and tony of course, quite a task.
SM background and high career is one thing, given our position that is a challenge he will well not be used to.
The hope is not too many pots and broth.

Not impressed with both interviews. Our new D.O.F. constantly praised TS, for all the good things he has done at the club but said it would be a difficult job, with what he will have to work with. This suggests to me that TS has no intention of backing the new coaching staff to a degree that we will be challenging for promotion. How low do we have to go? This is the 4th tier we've dropped to and we are not competitive, even at this level. We paid the highest renewal prices last season and on that basis we should have,at least had one of the top six wage budgets, unfortunately not.I will not hold my breath on who we bring in as head coach. It looks like same old, same old and TS is taking us all for mugs.

Having listened to the SM interview, you have to put it into perspective millerbill, he says he has been here 3 weeks. He says he had nothing to do with any decisions, inc LC. Everything starts yesterday. Simpson has turned him down.
There is not anything to criticise him for. Not his fault, or partly, that he is late to the party? Seems to me he was only asked after LC was badly handled.
The bit about SM may wish to return to coaching at some point was somewhat oddly put in and makes you wonder just how long he will be here.
However, what is clear is the club has not acted early enough, thought about what comes next after the sudden LC appointment. In fact, not even before the LC appointment.
As always, poor management. And not a sign that they cannot spot the danger.

Basically, he is asking us to take a leap of faith, like he does, buy a season ticket. He acknowledges it will be hard, he omits though it is late. But there would not be much point in him saying that.
But, thanks to a long line of mismanagement, that is realistically where we are. He cannot really say anything else than he has bill.
It may well come down to the fact that, basically, do we dig them out of a hole they have created?
