Shambles indeed. Despite the FAQs saying:Originally posted by Timbertop View PostAn absolute shambles all round.
I want to use a Physical Season Card in 2026/27, do I need to action anything?
In the event that you are already in possession of a Physical Season Card for 2025/26, your 2026/27 Season Ticket will be uploaded to the same card automatically. Please note, you do NOT need to replace that card.
The email from Grace Scott today after I asked a question about wanting to add to my existing physical card but want to pay in full is:
'There is no charge if you will be keeping your existing card. To use this feature, you must renew directly via the Ticket Office and request this so we can action the ‘add access’ feature at the time of purchase.
All physical card requests/adding access must come via the Ticket Office, online renewals default to digital.'
Not exactly clear in the online info or FAQs is it?!!

It would seem the club has changed the concessions age for season tickets.
On reaching the age of 60 years, you could get a concession season ticket.
The club has changed the age to 65 for season ticket concessions.
So if someone was 60 years of age last season, & got a concession season ticket, what will they be charged this season ?

They have already stated that if you had the 60+ concession in 2025-6 it will continue in 2026-7 if you renew. A shame for anyone who has supported us for 40-50 years, turned 60 this past year and was looking forward to getting a break. No worse though than starting your working life expecting a pension at 60 and now having to wait till you're 67.Originally posted by Ericsladkilnhurst View PostIt would seem the club has changed the concessions age for season tickets.

The concession given by the Millers for 60+ fans has been good, where most clubs the concession starts at 65 years of age.
The 10% reduction by the Millers on season tickets after relegation, TS is hoping fans renew.
West Ham United have reduced season ticket prices by 30% for next season.
With the London area having loads of clubs to pick from, the Hammers are hoping fans will stick with them.

Been down to NYS this morning, renewed season tickets for both myself & brother-in-law, both concession in North stand, at 265 pounds each.
Walking up the steps from the car park I was met with statues of 4 lions, big male, big female with 2 cubs, some women taking pictures.
When I returned from paying for season tickets, the 2 cubs were not there.
They probably p*ssed off, after realising they did not have a future at NYS. 😄
Took note 1 of lamp posts outside the Mears offices had been tw*ted & bent over.

My understanding was that once you were on the senior concession you would be 'grandfathered' into it as long as you kept renewing.Originally posted by Townerslovechild View PostRenewed mine, but I am now in the twilight zone of old get and normal human, I'm 61.
So it looks like I get nearly dead rate this season, and then another 3 season back at full price.
Bit sh*t that,had a full price season ticket for 25 years,think I've earned a concession !

What's my take on renewing a season ticket? You know I'm gonna tell y'all. It's the same as buying any product whether it be a sausage roll or a motorized vehicle. Both completely different products. But, what's inside each of said products? Before I buy anything it helps to know that the contents of a sausage roll has some quality meat inside its voluminous pastry. In the case of a vehicle. Well, has it got a fully functional engine that won't let me down?
In both cases we want to trust that the products we purchase will give us some satisfaction. Short term in the case of a sausage roll and long term in the case of the vehicle. The word trust is very important. Do I trust the management at New York Towers enough to buy a season ticket without seeing what's on offer before the season 2026/7 even begins?
Most of us are aware that there's been some hype about around a reported consortium allegedly prepared to invest in RUFC. Is that true? If it is, where's the proof? Why's RUFC dragging its heels over player recruitment. Some people will say that a lot of players are on holiday. Yeah, right.
If money is no object, surely there would be no real problem employing a decent experienced manager/coach? Yes, there's a lot of speculation but until RUFC actually show supporters what's really on offer then their futile attempt at selling more season tickets will be just that. Forlorn, fruitless and futile. It still begs the question.
What's the truth?

Spuddy, we couldn't attract a good Manager when we were in the Championship, so what do you think we can now...lol
