One reason we're in L2 next season is because of poor football decisions made by Tony. Would you rather that carry on or would you rather have someone with vast experience making those decisions? Genuine question because I'm struggling to see what some of our fans actually want.
I would like a new manager ASAP please.

If only we had a forward thinking owner who had the ability to shut the stable door a bit quicker.......

Fact or opinions is something you should google.
Is it not a fact that TS has appointed someone with zero knowledge of lg2.And in that persons first interview, did he not say he was looking for an upstairs(cushy)job? and that he and TS and enjoyed some nice lunches?Hardly the stuff of inspiration. He will be on a minimum of 50 grand a year ,for what exactly. Then straight after that, we are told to buy season tickets, or the spending budget is up the spout. Also a fact.I"m not having a go at what i hope will happen,it already has.

I don't buy into that at all. We're talking about a man with almost 50 years experience in the game, as a player, coach and manager. You're talking like he's coming in from a different sport. By the same token, would you be unhappy if Pep Guardiola was given the role simply because he's never managed in L2? And don't forget, SM isn't coaching the players, that's Head Coach's job.

As for his wages, I'm not sure what you want. Would you rather we bring someone in on minimum wage? If we did that, we could all have a moan about the club yet again doing things on the cheap. But no, this time we'll moan about maybe paying a little extra to bring someone in with vast knowledge of the game, which might actually benefit the club. FFS.

And now the door is well bolted, in comes a very expensive locksmith who so far is only saying how tight it is and not much else.

A doubt anybody on here knows what SM is paid.
He may be on a massive contract or it may be a low basic heavily incentivised towards results and/or promotion?
                  Who knows?
Stop worrying about things you?ve got no knowledge of or control over.
I thought it was a well known fact that most football contracts run to end of May or June?
One of SM comments was he rarely signed players in May and when he did they were probably the wrong ones and he overpaid for them so rushing in can lead to costly mistakes.
Think we can all agree that we fell for that scenario two seasons ago - how may of those early signings were any good or offered value for money based on time on the pitch?

A decent salary would be 5 grand a week, with a bonus on promotion.
We will be looking at lower crowds at home, when you look at some League 2 crowds at their own grounds, I can't see all that many away fans coming to the NYS.
At least the Millers will save on paying stewards, not as many needed.
One thing that could bring a few away fans is to see the NYS.

A vast number of L2 players will be OOC. That will be our main pool, so no, we will not sign until mid june. We cannot even get a coach through the door at the mo.

Artell leaving Grimsby. Wouldn't mind him here.

Correct me if I?m wrong but hasn?t he previously said he couldn?t work for Stewart ? Stockport could be his destination .

James Milner just announced his retirement from playing. Maybe he fancies a coaching gig under SMs mentorship
