To be honest this guys record as a manager was not very good apart from 1 season.

McClaren has already said the club is in a mess.
Let's be honest, his recommendations about what is needed to start putting things right will be way beyond what Tony Stewart is either willing or able to spend.
The fact that his first requirement has not even got out of the starting blocks, apparently for financial reasons, is potentially disastrous and no-one should be surprised if McClaren walks away.
A "mess" is probably the understatement of the close season so far.

How embarrassing, we are such a joke a real Mickey Mouse club run by absolute clowns. This is a bloke that has an average record at best and he is choosing to look elsewhere because we can't meet his financial requirements. Let us remember that Steve (season starts in October) Mclaren has been quoted as saying that work started weeks before he was actually announced, which it would be fair to assume included discussions about his coach and therefore with the coaches agent, and only now we find out his financial requirements? Please don't embarrass yourself any more RUFC by chasing after him, tell him to get stuffed and move on.
You can imagine teh PD interview on this.......Paul the situation regarding the coach that Steve mcLaren shared with us what is your take on it "I wasn't aware that McLaren made coaches but I have always admired their Formula 1 cars!
