If you are a prospective signing, you’d think twice before going to a club where you don’t know who you’ll be working for i.e. who will be the boss, how will they want to play, what role they’d like you to embrace etc etc - even a good manager can only achieve very limited things if they are left with the bottom of the proverbial barrel

The club has issued an update statement now.

I guess they've been forced into it because the number one target for Chief Coach doesn't want the job.

What if our budget for head coach was ?100k per year and he wanted ?200k per year or other similar figures/differences?
We don?t know what?s actually happening behind closed doors apart from they couldn?t agree a package.
So if we don?t know what?s actually been said we can?t comment with any degree of accuracy.
For the record, I?m glad Burchnall didn?t get the job as his record was indifferent at best.
No thanks to Karl Robinson also.
Don?t think Milner would be ready yet either.
We need to look at other young coaches working for clubs as part of coaching team like Ipswich and Birmingham have done.

I said same mate, a shambles of defence, & Woody could not sort them out.
I think it wants a total clear out of back room staff.
