Well, I am moderating what I say at the mo, so it is nice to get a bit of support. I have been a supporter since Lee Brogden and Jimmy Mullen were my favourites flying down the wings but what is happening now I feel is a club out of control and it wishful thinking time and it is scarey, depressing.

Since SM has said that all aspects of his to do list have to align, his word, with his vision then yes it looks like when he said the time it takes is the time it takes. He could not have thought of the position now.
May be he is not worried that warm up games are practically a month away. If player irons are in the fire, no matter.

I have just found and listened to the radio interviews not heard, just after his appointment. The vagueness of both him and stewart could be excused a little at that point, as they probably thought they had loads of time. And clearly it was a rushed appointment, no question.

ibis, I understand the need for any deep throat style source protection, older viewers will recognise the film, but it sounded like tongue in cheek worry which SHOULD apply to them, as I am sure it does to us all.

You just play the victim but then have a go at other posters.
I’m sorry but that’s why you are getting called out you don’t make any sense just aimed at getting a reaction.

Actions speak louder than words Yak and at the moment (and for far too long) we're getting neither.
I was responsible for external and internal communications at the company I worked for and one golden rule was that you don't allow extended periods of silence between each announcement or you risk p!ssing customers off and losing them completely. Sound familiar?

It seems to me that the club may have got itself into a difficult position at the moment and maybe they haven't been able to make the appointment(s) they wanted to. Unfortunately by saying nothing for far too long they have accelerated the rumour mill and disillusioned a lot of people.
There's not much they can say now to put that right unless it's to announce the new Head Coach in the next couple of days together with confirmation of a few players signing.
We can but hope.
