Yes from a certain section of some supporters but that's their prerogative to have a say and how they see current scenarios playing out. To quote Frank, 'That's Life'........and you'll always get a different view from everywhere from all our fans.Originally posted by CAMiller View PostDamned if you do, damned if you don't comes to mind so we know what the response to that will be don't we?
Emotions are running very high at the moment amongst the fan base and rightly so. Stay calm, be patient they say but, is there another club out there in the other 91 that has a badly managed predicament such as ours?
Farcical doesn't even cover it. I'll say it again, Stewart was having nothing of Lee Clark as the man openly spoke his mind, saw the issues drowning the club and outlined the change required. Stewart reminds me of the 74 Leeds board who didn't like a man who couldn't be told what to do and we all know how that ended!
Deep inside I bet McClaren isn't pleased he missed out on working with Lee Clark.Last edited by Brin; 05-06-2026, 08:12 AM.

I initially thought that ibs' "pick a name at random' game might have actually come up with something reasonable.
However - coaching experience amounts to assistant under 21 coach at Leeds, which he ditched for the cushy option of being a scout for Liverpool.
Doesn't suggest any coaching ambition or great expertise.
Please...... Not Woody or Knill

I wonder how many of SM connections we will go through before we are done?
Then we will have players coming in who have no connection at all and will not have a clue about what they want.
The last quote was needing someone with lower league experience. Downing was a fair steady player, but no international and remember this,
Many were saying hammy was not a manager, he was only a coach. We will have a HOF that was a manager, and coach for a manager.
How does that sit with you considering last season?

It is fair to say that none of us, even with longer memories, can recall anything like this before. A chain of events of three years.
So it had to be.
But this situation was known months ago about how many would leave and the planning for it has been non existent, and some of the mess we are in, perhaps all, could have been avoided.
If he runs his lighting company like a football club, it is a wonder it is not bankrupt.
