Good luck to him. At least the lad tried, was always available even after a season ending injury he still came back. The manager who a few in here seem to have the hots for in Lee Clarke has seen something he can work with.

Just goes to show that if you wish to, there's always another club to sign for if you've still got it in you to do so.

Total admiration how he soldiered on whilst others last season just took a wage regardless.

He took some stick but was always there !!

We could end up facing him if we donÂ’t get a shift on !!!

          Good luck Jordan !!

Lets be honest he was useless 90% of the time with us,and the other 10% he was just average, stole a rather large wage.

Sorry I really don’t get the love in for Jordan Hugill being brutally honest he was apart from the first six months of his three and a half years bloody awful and a drain on the club’s budget I don’t for a minute blame him for sticking it out as we were stupid enough to give him such a long and lucrative (for us) contract, I salute his agent though who obviously knows his stuff, as regards his availability yes he turned up week in week out at the side of others but please let’s put it in perspective what did he actually do, mainly fall down fake wind up opposition and referees alike not to any great result and if he wasn’t on such a big wage we could quite literally have pulled someone out of the north stand who would have done the same job and would be upright more too

He did appear to be auditioning for the grounds man’s job most games but he did at least turn up to play. Good luck to him with the Monkey Hangers.

In the history of RUFC, Hugill is a non- entity. Good riddance

Not my type of player with his antics and certainly not worthy of the no 9 shirt worn by the likes of Ronnie. Not my idea of a Miller.

Good riddance, ten times over. Utter waste of money.

He hadn't quite got the height to be a target man type forward but that's how we played him. We got him on the way down so wouldn't have seen the best of him. Wish him well at Hartlepool.

I agree, we definitely didn't see the best of him. And in his defence, he played in some very poor Rotherham teams. However, Joe Rafferty scored more goals than him last season which tells it's own story.

Anyway, now confirmed. He's got himself a 1 year deal. Good luck to him, hope he finds his mojo.

National League club Hartlepool United sign former West Ham striker Jordan Hugill following his release by Rotherham.

Yes, go well Jordan - at least we could rely on you to put a shift in. Always up against it here when he was a forward coming in after Smudge's departure - different kind of players really
