  • Wes Harding Released by Millwall

Ex-Miller Wes Harding aged 29 been released by
    Millwall.
Spent part of last season at Plymouth Argyle,
can play right back / centre back.
Could he be a decent signing for the Millers, if persuaded to drop down the league(s).

Only played 37 times plus 14 since july 2023. A whole heap would depend on fitness.

He's not been injured, just hasn't been able to get into a good Millwall side. Had a good run at Plymouth second half of last season.

Whatever anyones opinion of him as Player during he time with us, he never got injured, and played 90 minutes week in week out, often playing 2 or 3 positions a game. We need players like that to be signed this summer.

I don't think he'll be coming back here, I have thought he'd have better offers from higher up.

Wes loved being here, and who could forget the supporter shirt for a towel. If he is well fit for his age, then currently he would walk into a side here.

I don't like the idea of going back for players......but I would make an exception for Wes and Dan Barlaser.
          Neither will happen though.

Well, SM has said he is setting the bar high in recruitment, going cheaper and L2 is not going high. So, raid the wallet. People like Dan and Wes anyone like them. If they are serious, nothing less.

              Can you clarify that?
I thought I could work it out but got a tad confused?

Great player for us,would still do a job I'm sure, but you'd think he'd get a league one club.

I rated Harding. Warney can't have done that much cause odd few games he started with Peltier at right back & benched him as bad as when he did same with Vaulks & started Potter instead. Can't see us getting him back now we're in league 2 unless he's either a sicknote or his game has deteriorated that much that this is his level now?

I've just looked back at the stats and do you know how many games under Warne that Harding was left on the bench for while Peltier started? One. Yes, that's One. Not to mention he played over 40 games a season in previous two years under Warne.

You don't half talk some sh*te.

I looked at the programme for last season Harding was here 3 times Peltier started at right back with him on the bench.

Not under Warne he didn't. But no doubt you'd still blame Warne for Matt Taylor team selections.

Once was too much! Warney signed Peltier think theirs paths crossed at the end of his playing career? Was limited playing full back especially getting forward. Harding an actual signing can't think of many better right backs we've had while we've been at the NYS.

I thought they named the squad in the programme not the actual team!
