Adventus suffers only his 2nd defeat and things are a little tighter at the top. On the back of 6 consecutive home games raging is climbing the table and conversely BM58 in the midst of 6 consecutive away games is dropping like the proverbial stone. I blame the fixture committee but it should all even out in the end. Amusingly, does WORDLE football imitate the real world? In all the games played so far, on 10 occasions the home team has scored 'under par' whilst the away teams have only done that 4 times. Also, the only 3 occasions where a double bogey has been recorded were by the away teams. It's tough on the road!

Final away game of the season sees a long trip up to Eddie's place.
Tired after a long walk (finances are hard at BM58 stadium following 6 away games) we managed a 4, so expecting another defeat.

I’ll add another 4 to the pot just to keep things even. I’m up at league leader Adventus’s gaff today and don’t hold out much hope of him putting in a poor performance but we’ll see.

Ronners looks a lonely and haunted figure hunched into his dugout. Pale apart from the permanent bruising inflicted through decades of inter-marital violence. His good lady watches as usual at the top of the stand, her face a mask of malevolence, like a satanic kestrel grinning quietly at her plans of this evenings hideous thrashings.
Ronners has surprised me though - he's called up a few old pals for the game and fields a very strong line up featuring the likes of Tiger Towner, Johnny Seasman, Faghead Stancliffe and Gerry Forrest. Wel'll have to be on top of our toes, and for this I have come mostly dressed as Alvin Stardust circa 1974. Coo ca choo baby. Yes, I'm off my ****ing face.
And it was a hard fought game. My rag tag collection of far right neanderthal skin heads soon unsettled the skilled old timers with some good old fashioned kicks and punches, Mountford was maimed, Breckin was broken, Mullen was mullahed and Finney was ****ed well and truly with what looked to be a comfortable and servicaable bird. However, I was shocked and outraged as the final letter didn't turn green, stubbornly remaining a black, leaving me scraping what looked to be a comfortable win into another scrape through only on home advantage. Still a win's a win so **** ronners. It's a results game, some are winners and some are ronners. Bless his miserable and death yearning little soul.
Again, as me and my lovely bunch of thick apes head off the pitch to finish the rest of our drinks, I cast one last sad look at Ronners, bowed and defeated in his dug out as his lovely lady slowly descended the steps of the stand towards him...Comment

Home teams dominate once again as Adventus extends his lead at the top. Raging has been on a roll recently so will probably regret the fact that he's on his International Break tomorrow. However, it does give him a chance to rest his eclectic squad before a grueling 3 game road trip to end his season. After a 'pointless' week away BM58 will be glad to finally return to his home stadium tomorrow.

In yesterday's league table CAM, you have CT down as having played 8 games, which is correct, but having won 4 and lost 5 which isn't correct, so it's either a mistake or you already know the result of his game today before it's been played 🤔😂 UTMComment
