True. It was hard to find a balance with the scoring. I did originally have 0pts for a 4/5/6, 3 for a 3, 7 for a 2 and 10 or 14 for a 1. We averaged almost 4.0 over the golf tournament and birds of any kind were becoming scarce so giving 0 for a par seemed a bit stingy. Today's bird fest could just be a blip and maybe the WORDLE gods/defence will tighten up in the next 3 quarters?

Fair comment. Looking at scores for a typical Ryder Cup team round, they would've produce a 12 - 6 scoreline after one quarter - which sounds pretty authentic
