      • Well done to recent buzzards and here's another one, flapping down out of the blue.

        • Excellent buzzard Raging! They seem to be flying about this week.

Par for me. Thought I was on for a second successive buzzard but there were three possible words at my second go and I chose the wrong one - twice.

If CAM devised a fishing competition version of Wordl, I’d have put that as ‘the one that got away’

            • Well done Raging. I unfortunately had a complete nightmare after a fantastic start. I just really struggled, it took me ages to eventually get it for a double bogey 6. I was convinced id fail today.

5g - convinced this couldnt be the word today, so I was very shocked when all the letters turned green!

              • WORDLE cricket is here, a team game pitting The Home Boys against The Exiles. Winner will be decided in a best of 3 matches competition. Each match will run for a maximum of 10 days (5 days batting per side).

                Wordle/Bowling scoring: 1=3 wickets, 2=2 wickets, 3=1 wicket. Any other score = 0 wickets.
                Wordle/Batting scoring: 1=40 runs, 2=30 runs, 3=20 runs, 4=10 runs, 5=5 runs. Any other score = 0 runs.

Innings will end after 5 days (the limited overs aspect) or 10 wickets whichever comes first. Due to the time differences in postings, on the day the 10th wicket falls all runs scored by the batting team will count.

Match 1 starts tomorrow, February 16th. The Exiles won the toss and opted to bowl. The Home Boys will bowl first in Match 2. If Match 3 is needed, the team that scored the most total runs in the first 2 matches will bowl first. Polish your balls Exiles. Get your pads on Home Boys. Good luck everyone.
