Statistics April 25 - May 1

Hardest word was PROWL on April 30th with a 4.16 average (3.89 on MM) and easiest was PRUNE on April 28th with a 3.46 average (3.78 on MM). Does the similarity in words and in MM scores indicate a leaning towards the use of common starting words where the wider variety in averages across the WORDLE world indicates random starting words?

A consecutive hattrick of 6's with today's 6, I had 3g after 3 goes and was fairly confident what the last letter was but could think of 4 letters for the other one. I decided to go for it with what I thought was the more obvious word and was wrong, but I was also right with what I thought the last letter was giving me 4g. So with 2 goes left I could think of 3 letters it could be and burnt my 5th go with all 3 letters in and it was none of them so when I looked what was left there was one letter I hadn't thought of and it was in fact that letter I needed so another 6 it was for me today........sorry for the long intro😩

I’d say you’re right, CAM - especially when it comes to vowels. Throw in the less used U and we older gents struggle to move outside our set patterns!
