Out of interest do the users of past Wordle sites us starting words that haven't been past Wordles? With the age most of us are it's obvious that the past 1000+ can't all be memorised but doesn't it take much of the challenge out of the game?

I have very little functioning memory left so use the past words tracker regularly. Didn't need to today though due to way letters fell after 1st guess.

My regular starter words have now been used so I moved to another recently - but haven't actually checked whether it's been used already.

I try to use the past Wordl word site sparingly but do accept it gives an advantage when comparing with others who don't use one. I take the view that, as the number of relatively straight forward available words diminishes, the challenge becomes harder than it was when Wordl first started and eliminating words that have already been used is a counterbalance to this.

I do accept that there is questionable logic in this view but, at least when I'm just playing against myself, I find the game more enjoyable than it would otherwise be if I didn't have this support.

Maybe we should agree among ourselves that, when CAM runs a competition, we create an even playing field and agree a convention on using Wordl word sites.
