After yesterdays crappy first effort, I changed the rented shoes for something more my size and got them on the right feet. I also changed my ball for something heavier, cut my fingernails and got the ball moving down that bias line just to the right of centre.

The sound of crashing pins was a joy to my ears!

Thanks, pup. Yes, I seem to recall we have one word we both use and I alternate with one or two others as the mood grabs.

I was thinking back about bowling in my ****s and I seem to recall scores were usually in the 110 - 150 range (out of 300) I do once remember getting 195 - absolute fluke. It involved three consecutive strikes early on and, since it was in the days of paper and pencil recording, we had to go and ask at the desk how you scored for that. Obviously I was up in nosebleed country and understandably faded a bit towards the end.

That's impressive BM. I think my best is around 180-190. We'll need to pick up our games if we're going to replicate those scores in the WORDLE Bowl.
