Thanks CT. I did see your post and think I replied to it my head and not 'on paper'. Indeed I did start kicking the political threads over to the PL Board simply because they were getting too heated and too frequent on the main board, especially around Brexit/Covid/BLM era. As expected, once there they died. I feel if the Wordle thread deserved to be ejected then so should any other O/T thread (I get your point about it being long running and with limited participation) but that's a slippery slope we've been down before which seemed to kill the vibrancy of the main board. For now I'm going to leave it here, and anyway it's about football now (for a couple of weeks at least)

After yesterday's undisciplined DISPLAY away to Bramley, I didn't have a clue who we were playing today and too lazy to check the rules again, to went out against whoever I was playing and quickly dissembled into a shambles again. Really hard to maintain a pressing game when you've been drinking for real. Feel apart and started fighting with myself as we scrambled burpingly to a boogie in old money.

CAM, you’ve probably thought of this already knowing you, but it might be good to post the remaining fixtures every now and then to save us having to scroll back to find who we’re playing (a bit like you do with the megapoptastic quiz, in a way…)

BramleyMiller makes hay whilst the sun shines with his opening run of home games to record his 2nd victory and now along with Adventus who opened his account with a 4-0 thumping of yours truly they are the only two unbeaten teams after just 2 days. CT and raging are still trying to get out of their bowling shoes and into something more appropriate.
