But I'm on a pretty tough run lately - don't play everyday but only one birdie in the last couple of a weeks (and that was cancelled out by a bogey a few days later)

Assuming my maths isn't going the same way as my Wordling, my average score has gone up from 3.2 to over 3.5
Have they been getting harder or is age catching up with Walt at Wordle, like it is with everything else?

3.5 is a pretty good average Walt. I've played 742 games, failed only 4 times but I'm averaging 3.87. After 2 games my average was 2.00 but it's been downhill ever since.

I agree, Walt. I think the words have been getting a little more challenging. Not sure if that's a conscious policy or because, as time goes by, the number of available, less challenging words has dwindled.

Hi Walt, I think a 3.5 average is really good and I think it all depends on having a bit of luck at times with whatever starter word any of us use, which makes the word either harder or easier to solve. UTM
