Thanks more to overcast conditions and a sticky WORDLE wicket rather than any bowling prowess, The Exiles manage to limit The Home Boys to just 15 runs on the final day and at stumps they are 260-2 and fall 20 runs short of their target. So it's a 2-0 series win for the ex-pats as the pads, gloves and unsanitised communal boxes are packed away in the team bags until next time.

Based on Howdy's idea, the sport of WORDLE is the focus for the next competition. 7 days of straight Wordling with straight Wordle scores (No shows will be awarded a 5). Lowest scores win. A 3 team event and an individual even running concurrently. The team with the lowest daily Wordle total gets 4pts, 2nd gets 2pts and 3rd 0pts. Ties share the points. Ties in the final table will be broken by lowest Wordle totals. Individual points are simply your Wordle score.
