I thought about my sixth guess on and off for five hours, but just couldn't see the answer. Then I went for a swim and the answer came to me before I'd finished my first length of the pool.

A typical Open day at Troon today where the early starters took advantage of the benign conditions to register an eagle and 3 birdies whilst the later starters struggled with the wind to record pars and a couple of bogeys. The net result is that Adventus has opened up a two shot lead with two to play.

Dropped the cleaver when I tripped over my own feet in what turned out to be a desperate lunge into the undergrowth, Raging. All bluster and whistling in the dark as I flop with a six.

Crashing back into it with another two. A green and a yellow on the first go and the field was wide open on what to do next.

Randomly I get the right word and watch all the greens tumble into place.

Well that's put the cat amongst the pigeons! Just one hole left and 6 players within 2 shots. In the event of a tie after 18 holes, like the real competition we'll have a 4 hole aggregate score playoff followed by (if necessary) sudden death.
