Although I know it was stated that they wouldn't reuse words, in playing I've never actually checked if a word has been used before. On doing a quick search, neither of the two sources I looked at had today's word as having been used in the past.

Interesting - I have been looking at this one: https://www.rockpapershotgun.com/wordle-past-answers and the word is plainly there. Will have to sack this one off. Cost me a bloody bird that did. *******s.
