Well done Jake. I just checked back at the start of this thread in the good old days when Wordle was easy. My first 7 attempts were 2-2-3-3-3-2-2. It's been all downhill since then starting with a 6 on my 8th go

My average after those first 7 was 2.42 and today it's 3.9. I wonder if it was just luck or the NY Times executed a 'bait and switch' as they were looking towards a 'pay to play' model and wanted to make me feel good
