    Interesting research from china

You are way behind the curve. PCR testing has been a target for covid deniers since early 2020. I'm not sure what it has to do with vaccines though.

I’ll deal firstly with the comments about the inventor of the PCR Test, Kary Mullis, and the quote that is attributed to him as it often features in covid denial. Firstly, he didn’t say it and secondly, what he actually said is taken wholly out of context.

Misrepresented and taken out of context – that seems to be how conspiracy theorists roll on social media.

What Mullis said about the PCR test as a diagnostic tool was in the context of his belief – at the time – that the HIV virus was not the causative agent of AIDS. He was concerned that HIV might be a virus that was a largely benign but present in many people. It followed that he believed that the results of PCR testing for HIV in the human population would be wrongly interpreted as evidence of AIDS (or, more accurately, the presence of an infection that would lead to AIDS).

I’m sure that if you look hard enough on Twitter you will find people who says that AIDS doesn’t exist or is as a result of secret military technology that ‘they’ are using against ‘we the people’, but I think you’ll struggle to find any serious scientific opinion that still doubts that HIV is the causative agent of AIDS.

As for the remainder of the post, PCR testing in the context of covid detects the presence of RNA or RNA fragments from the SARS-COV2 virus, which may indicate a current or recent infection. The PCR elements of the test literally duplicates that material to the level where it becomes detectable. It is fair to say that, broadly speaking, it doesn’t indicate the likelihood of a person becoming ill (although detection after a low number of cycles - i.e. rounds of amplifications - would be indicative of a high viral load).

But in the UK at least, PCR was not the only diagnostic tool used. Even after mass testing was brought online, it was only available to symptomatic people (or those working in high risk settings). If a person showed symptoms and gave a positive PCT test, that has to be a pretty good indicator of an active infection.

Viral culture would not have been a practical diagnostic tool for covid at the height of the pandemic– it is time consuming and difficult, and the testing capacity could not have been built in time.

On the issue of covid denial generally, I agree with Crash – the death figures tend to suggest otherwise, unless you subscribe to the view that excess deaths can only ever be attributed to vaccines.

I am not a Covid denier! Please! You know my problem is with the mRNA vaccine and the harm that it's doing.

I know AIDS exists! I've never denied that nor would I! I certaily wouldn't believe anything that I hadn't the experience of! Although I question everything now.

In the same notion Luc Montagnier who with collegues discovered AIDS believed that Covid was develloped in a lab. There hasn't been anyone to say exactly where the souce is has there? They've testsed countless animals and haven't found where it's come from.

Indeed Fauci himself sounds unsure in this video.

If you're not a covid denier why post the video and associated Tweet? They had nothing to do with vaccines.

I have no idea where the virus originated from. Research into coronoviruses was being undertaken in Wuhan which raises the possibility of a lab leak, but was also the home of a wet market where various species were being kept close to each other and humans providing ideal circumstances for cross species (zoonotic) transmission.

I have seen no real evidence to support a lab created origin.

I don't think we'll ever know the answer.

You may not believe it but I do look at what you and others say. I do consider what's said but that doesn't shut me off nor I don't think should shut anyone off from dismissing things jus t because it's classed as a conspirisy theory.

Crash picked up and shouted out ANTI COVID and you picked up on it. I posted it because of the PCR test and the way that the MD in the video had founf something in her research that had been closed down.

I also believe that big Phama have paid for cesorship of MSM, social media and polititions alike. The amount of welth passed from the public purse to these companies is criminal. When you see that the Prime Minister of the UK has profited and people like Bill Gates are boasting a x 20 yeald on a product they invested in just before or at the start of a pandemic is also criminal.

If the papers released by the Canadian MPs today are true then questions should be asked as to why the Chinese were able to get hold of top secret biolab information!

The lists of questions need answering and if any wrong doing found then those people should face justice.

All I did was post the original paper. I didn't comment on it did I?

                      • Kerr,

This is the video I was talking about regarding his spat with Vaucci

Noble Prize winner and PCR test CREATOR, Dr Kary Mullis always stood against Fauci and the bureaucrats and WARNED against using his PCR test as a diagnostic tool : He tried to debate Fauci many times but “He would NEVER debate me!” “The PCR test can NOT distinguish https://t.co/8zJqFXs7Ta

And I commented on it. What's your point?

My point is that someone else posted the information and I gave the full document.

But that video simply repeats the claim in the defunct Irish newspaper, so it wouldn't really help.

I've not seen the full video, only that clip and so I would suspect that it's yet another example of something being taken out of context.

The point is this: when you provide access to education, contraception and healthcare care - including vaccination - the birth rate falls. That effect can be seen around the world. In time it would lead to a fall in population, which would allow the human race to actually live sustainably.

I suppose that he could actually have hatched a heinous plot to kill people with vaccines and then kept it secret other than announcing it in a Ted Talk that was recorded and made available to the world. That would be entirely plausible.
