Correct. I pointed to four contributing factors, that was one.

https://www.consilium.europa.eu/en/i...gas-come-from/ - this shows that Russia-EU gas imports fell by more than 70% from 2021 to 2023.

It's very hard to have a meaningful converstion when the very foundation of your argument is built on misinformation or a misunderstanding, so let's start here...

              I know it is.

I'm guessing it's the source for Frogs comment.

Everyone is frothing at the mouth and calling each other out before any of this is played out.

Three years and no progress was being made in this horrible war. All trying to score points while 100's of thousands of young soldiers are sent to slaughter.

We've yet to hear what Putin will put on the table to end it. It might be unpalatable.

I find it strange that so many people oppose capital punishment in this country but can sit behind their keyboard and continue to support a war, in which Ukraine can't win. With or without Europe's help.

Stop the killing ASAP and negotiate a settlement.

The European Union vowed to drastically cut imports of gas from Moscow over its invasion of Ukraine but data shows the bloc's purchases of Russian-made liquefied natural gas (LNG) have soared. #EuropeNews

OK, so this gives us a good case study.

You said to me " The interesting part is that you beleive yourself to be far too intelligent than us so your reasoning must be correct!"

I've made no statements about intelligence, but I do believe I am more capable of questioning the things I read online and conducting further research/thinking when something doesnt make sense and I may have misunderstood. I certainly am better at fact checking things before I share them before I don't embarass myself.

For example, you blindly claimed that "Appently Europe buys more gas now from russia than it did before the war." - if you give this even a moment of consideration... you could think "hmm, this doesn't seem to make sense, maybe I have understood".

What you have done here is confused liquid gas with all gas, as though they are the same thing.

Your foundational understanding is very limited and misinformed, and you don't even realise it.

Yet you don't let your ignorance of reality stop you having strong opinions. It's very hard to have meaningful discussions when someone is so severly misinformed that they will not only blindly accept the obviously wrong assertion "Europe buys more gas now from russia than it did before the war", but they will repeat it.

Not only that, howdydoo has blindy gone along with exactly the same misunderstanding too. Shocking ignorance.

I realise that you may still not even have understood why your misunderstanding is so daft. So let me illustrate it with an example.

Imagine your local pub sells 1,000 pints of Guiness in a week: a regular order of 11 kegs containing 88 pints each (968 pints), and 32 bottled pints.

One day they are no longer able to get any kegs because there is a problem with the supplier. However some customers are desperate for Guiness, and you are able to source an extra 68 pint bottles which you sell.

You go from selling 1000 pints of Guiness to selling 100 pints of Guiness, a fall of 90%.

You tell a customer that you sold an extra 68 bottles compared to normal, selling 100 up from the normal 32, an increase of over 200%.

If that customer then went around telling everyone that your Guiness sales tripled, you'd probably think they'd had a bit too much to drink - is the most polite way I can put it.

I think you'll find Vanguard, State Street and BlackRock have made considerable progress during this period.

Possibly so, but Putin has a strong claim to those parts of Eastern Ukraine in which Russia-friendly citizens were shelled as they lay in their beds by the Ukraine Azov battalion. These people were (theoretically) protected by the Minsk agreement, signed by Russia, Germany, France and the UK, - which 'Mutti' Merkel later admitted had been a huge lie in order to allow the Ukrainian forces time to restock their ammo. So, in trying to prevent death and destruction Putin had been shat upon by the West once again. Yet people seem surprised by his reactions.

That's because the mainstream media keep telling them that Ukraine is winning. I recently say a video from the Ukrainian front lines showing one of their soldiers who'd almost blown up most of his fellow troops in an armament accident. This young man had Downs syndrome. What kind of 'hero' leader sends people with Downs syndrome to the front lines? And would this be happening if Ukraine were 'winning'? I could weep.

                          I know the numbers thanks.

You just want to belittle people.

                          It's pathetic.

This isn't good against evil. They're all evil.

Didn?t you say that it was like a high school debating society talking to us on here the other day?

Do you think that the heavy gases from the natural gas taken from the ground in Russia is being used to make the LPG? Or do you think that it is being made just from the crude oil? I honestly don?t know myself.

The amount of gas and oil sold around the world that is being bought by the US, Europe and the UK is paramount to laundering or washing the money and giving it back to Russia through the BRIC countries?

And now you have compared Howdydoo with me in a degrading way!

Can?t you see what you are doing? You are closing off your side of the argument.

Let us say half of what I say is correct but 100% of what you say is correct yet we don?t agree on anything at all then who is wrong?

This can be a casebook on your theory.
