The Tony Blair Institute. Quelle surprise, eh?

The major funder of the Tony Blair Institute (TBI) is Larry Ellison, the founder of Oracle.

Why can't you take them in? We have thousands protesting in supporting mass immigration in London every week.

Why don't they all hold their hands up to house and feed these people?

What the hell if they happen to be rapists and murderers?

Just to be sure you could have a 30 minute interview with them first, to make sure they're a nice chap or maybe a nice family.

The authorities could give all these compassionate people who 'help', a little added responsibility by making them liable to prosecution if their new housemates commit any crimes. That's if the crime isn't against them and they haven't had their throats slit first.

If you live in a council house, we could make it compulsory for everyone who has a spare room, doesn't have a job and claims benefits. Actually that's a genius idea. You'd have a million people who've never worked in their life, look for a job, any kind of job, immediately.

No need to continue with the lie, that we need millions of people, to come here.

Oh jeez, I thought you were brighter than all of those posters who can't distinguish asylum seekers from economic migrants who have arrived to fill jobs we need doing.

On the first point, I don't want thousands of asylum seekers arriving by small boats or any other means. When did I ever say I did? My question is what do we legally do with them once they are here. I honestly don't know, but clearly your strange fantasies about similar people who recognise the complexity of the situation and therefore not joining in with tinpot flag waving bull**** having to house them joins the other fantasies about slashing boats or guning them down. I actually recognise the frustration and anger from many people about the situation, but can't see workable solutions under the international legal frameworks as they are. I'm sure Farage will set up the next election under the banner of us dropping out of the international frameworks, and good luck to him but I wouldn't vote for him as I think he'll make Truss look like an economic professional.

On your suggestion that it is a lie that we need millions of people to come here, I'm assuming your referring to legal migration? Ok, so if we go through with returning all millions of recent economic migrants, what's your plan for replacing them in the hospitals, schools, care homes and hospitality sectors in view of declining birth rates? To give a real world example, I employ two lecturers who are recent international student graduates in techincal subjects. We advertised nationally and as always have very few applicants, most of them from internationals. We don't pay them less than a UK equivalent, we simply hire the best we can at our goiing rate. Under Farage's plan, both of these would be returned to their home countries, Estonia and India. How do you propose employers like us fill these vacancies? Who will you have serving your food, wiping your arse etc?

I've suggested before that we could invest huge amounts in a UK skills training programme, apprenticeships, FE to move towards filling these jobs internally but that would cost billioins and billions and who would pay for that under our bone headed mentality of only voting for people who promise not to raise taxes, despite costs of everything rising year on year. I would suggest that in the real world, any potential government proposing such a massive upskilling the natives programme would be asked to justify how they will raise the costs for it, and said government wouldn't have a hope in hell of getting in power.

Just by quickly reading through that raging it looks like

1, you have a superior complex,

2, anyone waving a flag is tinpot

3, you’re against the only thing stopping action against legally stopping the dinghies

4, it is not only foreigners that work in nursing homes. Plenty could be done to encourage more people to do the job of wiping arses! Garage has suggested that very thing to fill the void a kin to what you suggest in you lady paragraph

I wouldn’t want Farage either but the alternatives are poor!

PS The donkeys' names were witheld to protect their ID.
No mention of donkeys going into witness protection at that time.

                  1. Sorry about that

                  2. I don't have aproblem with flag waving. It happens at sporting events, proms, ceremonies and is a rightful marker of any citizen's pride in and support of their country. Running around in the middle of the night putting flags 1 third the way up public lamp posts without the democratic consent of the community is tin pot though. In my opinion.

                  3. Not sure what you mean by this - what is the one thing that could legally stop dinghies, that I am supposedly against? I'm presuming you mean an actual real policy here as opposed to fantasies? But not sure what you mean?

                  4. Yes, we absolutely could develop our domestic workforce to fill the jobs that migrants are currently supporting. WE could raise wages so that UK people are encouraged to work in social care. We could develop apprenticeship programmes, redefine FE, pay nurses more to encourage domenstic nurses who won't apply currently, pay teachers more so that more domestic people want to train to be teachers. This would require vast billions and billions input to raising skills and wages. Farage has indeed said we should do all this. But, have you noticed that he won't give any detail on how much this would cost? Or how he would pay for it?

So. How would you pay for all the billions that this would cost?

Sorry, you have an estimated 400k what? Asylum seekers? Are you saying that UK has taken in a million asylum seekers in 2 years whilst France has taken in 400k? I think you're correct with the numbers of French asylum seekers in the last 2 years, but where do you get that the UK has taken a million?

There isn't a week where we don't find some sort of scandal or corruption with this govt. They are just not capable of running this country.Meanwhile 1300 illegal migrants came over at the weekend. It's mindblowing where we are sending these huge numbers.Guarantee it won't be in Starmers's neighbourhood.

Illegal immigrants it said on one news outlet. If this is correct then why are they not in the system? We have an identity card and the only way to receive any benefit is to do so online.
To get on any training course you have to download an app.
The black market here is rife even though we have all these things in place.

There are training courses set up for immigrants, I used to run a workshop for them and kids with social problems.
It was us that found housing for them if they were desperate using other charities.

The government don’t have the skills to do what is needed although there are many good people working on the projects.

The immigration policies are killing the system here as it is there. The pot of money is almost empty. The hospitals are overstretched, the education system is under too much pressure and the growth needed is being stifled by bad policy.

Unless there is a reset that will allow the millions have already flooded Europe then there is no chance of integration like you are enjoying in your life.

I think that you are blinkered by your good fortune. Your education, your job, your outlook on Britain as a colonising nation that should somehow be punished. Your willingness to give money for wars and to let the next generation pay for it.

There are many like me that think that you are wrong and that your liberal ideals are inhibiting your need to see it from other peoples position.
