    NEW SIGNING Kian Spence

    Signed today from Barrow!

Sounds a bit poncy to! Have we ever had a player called Kian or Spence for that matter play for us?

He is a lot better looking than me!

When asked about his new midfield man, Millers boss Matt Hamshaw said: "We have been tracking Kian over the last few years and are really excited by him. He covers a lot of ground and I'm really glad that we have been able to get it over the line.

"From day one when I met Kian I felt that he really wanted to be here and that really impressed me. He is a versatile midfielder and has a great strike from distance.

"He wears his heart on his sleeve, gives everything that he has got, but also has that touch of quality which is what impresses me."

Exactly the type of player we should be looking at. Patience is needed as they will take time but great start.
I confidently predict he will score key goals in our 2-1 wins.

Imagine the abuse Evans would have got if he gave this comment. So would have been all over it

I think that you are right Clayton.
I was led to believe that when questioned about a possible recruit that Evans gave a speedy yes or no response to Scott.
MH and Wogga would have been in meetings with Warne when recruiting was spoken about and maybe Spence was spoken of. The appointment of Wood will give the team a players view of him on the pitch.

Also a big factor between Hammy and Evans is that we have no reason to disbelieve Hammy.

This time last year we were all gung ho about the forthcoming season. And how wrong we were. This year I'm feeling underwhelmed. Old pals act management. Flops at Derby and Peterborough and no coaching experience from Wood. A big signing from Barrow. Let's hope I'm wrong again

If by this time next week, we haven’t seen some movement then I think you have a valid concern. Benefit of the doubt for now

I've got my doubts about Wood as a coach but happy with Tongue assistant manager. Holmes Kayode can only think he's offered them contracts to play in the Vertu cup rest 1st team squad up. What worries me is pre-season training this Portugal jolly should be about team bonding up to now only one signing to do that with! See what this week brings.
