  • Hammy has won me over

I think he is the right man to move the club forward.

I think we are at an important cross-roads this weekend. Win and I can see a decent season. Perhaps even a push at the playoffs

Hamshaw talks well, especially for a manager with less than 20 games experience. He's by no means perfect and there would've been better candidates out there to bring in for a short term fix. However, this is going to be a massive learning exercise for all involved, he has a system he wants to play and he'll have to adapt at times when it's needed, but he's not going to get it right every time.

The basics of what he's wanting to do are no different to when Warne was in charge, and it took a couple of years for Warne to get a proper side together. Long term I think he'll work out, we just need to be patient with him.

Anything better than our finish last season is by far a success, considering we've employed a manager with no experience. The squad is lacking in areas and we've got some deadwood left over, but we should comfortably finish mid table. A decent January window and we could quite easily be play off material

            Wimbledon and Stockport.
Hazard a guess at the number of goals we'll score and the number of points we'll get.
This will shine a spotlight on Mr Hamstring

Virtually every Rotherham fan would dearly love another period of excitement, commitment and belief that was delivered during the Warnie era!

Died a death this thread! His signings are either in the sick bay or no better than what we've got.

You and Grist should get together, what a barrel of laughs that would be.
Even IBS is being positive, but that won't last.
