Even IBS is being positive, but that won't last.

His signings tell me one who you compare with Vaulks Rathbone? my type of players. Direct.

        Okay I'll bite,
Not every player comes into a team and gets up to speed straight away. Vaulks (and Oddofin for that matter) were garbage their first season playing for us. Even woody went on loan to chezzie before he got in the first team for us, to completely judge new signings off 6/9 games is pretty pointless, and I think based on where people have played so far Yearwood clearly fills this role.
Also on Rathbone, my opinion is he was always made to look good by having better more technical players beside him, and while he might not be one of Matt's signings McWilliams has played that role pretty well so far this year.

What this team has lacked in the past couple years is a lack of quality technical players with maybe the exception of wilks and clucas, and it's clear with Hamshaws signings, bringing in Martha, Hall, Kaleta and Gore he's trying to address this problem

Wood went on loan cause we had better at time. Compared to now he wouldn't have. Was Warney that with Vaulks played Potter instead he got injured then he turned our season round. Rathbone he's gone on to show player he is. Can't see when the going gets tough especially in away games Martha Kaleta being up for it. Yearwood waste of a signing along with Benson.

Hamshaw will keep playing his signings keeping most of our younger players out of the the match day squad but I can't see that working.

Vaults was garbage every season he played for us. Honestly can't think of a more over rated player.

He will be remembered for 3 things

              1. Bit of charity work
              2. Handstand goal celebration
              3 Pushing Roy Keane

Amazing how gullible some fans are. If you can fist-pump, foul and kiss the badge you have every chance of being a hero even if you are a dreadful footballer

Knew you couldn`t be positive twice in one thread,Vaulks was a decent player,McWilliams is very similar, doing the donkey work.

That's why I see things different from most on here. Vaulks was my favourite player for us since we've been at the NYS. 2nd Odoffin.

I would rather have a team of "garbage" players like Vaulks than massively overpaid "marquee" signings who can't stay on their feet or have gold teeth and offer nothing on the field.

Bit harsh to say Odofin was garbage in his first season as he hardly ever played. Came on as sub at Wigan with a few mins left, gave away a free kick which they then scored from.
Warne hardly ever picked him after that.

Just goes to highlight your usual misjudgement. Both were decent players but neither of them were fit to lace Lee Frecklington's boots!
You probably didn't see him play at NYS.

We often see things(players),differently, Gru actually believes Vaulks was one our best ever players, whereas IBS thinks he was sh*t just for the attention ,I'm somewhere in the middle, but he'd be in the team for Saturday.

Vaulks played in the game that basically saved Warnes job away at Blackpool when we won with two very late goals. Vaulks was very ill with flu, he demanded he played and gave everything in that game. Powell, rafferty perhaps James are the only players in our current squad that I believe would do what vaulks did that game.

Was Warney I've said only he knows why he dropped Vaulks for Potter another sicknote till he got injured. Remember seeing Vaulks in now was is the Vertu cup getting a game scoring doing handstands!

Vaulkes wasn’t the most talented player we’ve had but full of commitment.

When he started getting more of the limelight his appearances strangely dropped. Maybe only space for one ego at the club at the time.
