It would be a shame to see you go.

Makes me think of Ulysses. You want to hear the Sirens bewitching song but not be tempted to join them. Unfortunately tying yourself to the mast of the Millersmad boat-and having the moderating sailors put wax in their ears - isn't an option.

I don't agree with most of what you put.
I think you are happy to say controversial stuff but don’t like it when others do that you don’t agree with You band the racist tag around far too much.

That said it’s your opinion you are entitled to it and should carry on posting your opinions. Just accept the fact you will be called out if others don’t agree
If not the get thesen off.

The board is a opinion board..
              So everyone has their opinion.
If someone differs to your opinion, it's
their opinion, which the board allows
              through free speech.
This is what the Millers board does, allowing each poster their opinion.
So Rolymiller carry on posting your opinion, where others might disagree, but that's life.

Yes, diversity of opinion helps breathe life into this board. I have always valued your views and I remember how kind and supportive you were to me when my first ever post provoked such a vitriolic, obnoxious response from a certain individual no longer on here (unless he is using yet another alias) that Cam took it down straight away before I even saw it. But you told me and gave me some pointers and encouragement as did Cam. Let's face it, the only thing we all have in common here is our love for RUFC so there's bound to be a wide spread of political standpoints on here. Let's just try to be civilised.

I think that the moderators listen but may not agree. They unfortunately can’t turn off the sound and have to endure it.
They have to make a judgement in what is probably the most versatile period of understanding the developed world is in regarding what is said and what is written.
A footballers nonce jibe cost him millions in court whereas if he said it to another footballer he would have been told to **** off.
The few years that we have all shared on millersmad has seen a down turn in moderation I think.i for one would like to stop running it. Someone took over and for whatever reason stopped. I don’t hold it against that member because I know what it takes to run it. I could have left it but I love the matchthread so I took it back on and it is still the major reason I am still on Millersmad.

To make judgement on every lost would be exhausting. CAM makes a good fist of it and brin like me tries his best.

In this age of what is being seen as an eradication of free speech I personally will stop anyone saying what they want to.

We all know what is acceptable and what isn’t. We all fly close to the sun sometimes but we all are all bound by one thing and it is Rotherham United!

Do you mean me? I took over the matchthread for a few weeks.

And I didn't make a conscious decision to stop doing the matchthread. I found that I was typing more and more with each passing week and decided it'd be much easier to do it on my laptop, rather than on my phone. The problem was, I couldn't log in on my laptop so had to reset my password. Upon doing this, the site never sent me a confirmation email and disabled my account, hence I disappeared for 6 months. Then one day, it randomly let me in, which is absolutely typical of this garbage platform.

Most other club's fans have moved on, we ought to do the same.

Well said, Frog. My Greek mythological analogy was definitely not aimed at the moderators who do a great job with no reward - financial or otherwise. My point was a gentle jibe at Roly who can?t expect you three to sort out his problems with the board so that he can distance himself from the temptation to take on the views of what appears to be a political majority on here. (Having said that, I have always admired his courage - and that of others like Raging Pup, Kerr and Giddy - for being Daniels in the lions? den?)

I am really disappointed with footy mad then because I sent you pms asking if you we ok.

I didn?t get a response so I thought that you had packed it in.

Your threads were a breath of fresh air for the match threa that had become tired.

                        I would like further tomorrow

I’m not sure it’s a political majority CT more of the mood of the nation and the reaction to this government. I’m certainly not right wing at all but disgusted with this government. I think more people have a leaning to the right if you want to call it that. As for roly like has already been said he enters into the discussions which tend to get feisty then cry’s racism, bullying and constantly has a go at the mods when things don’t go his way. He should keep posting but accept that it can be volatile with political threads right or wrong but that’s how they go.

Yes, I think you're correct with your comments about what the majority view on here represents. It's a broader church than the politically far right wing - which I think is the windmill at which Roly is probably tilting.

You're right of centre. Own it. Socialism doesn't work. Never has.

Doesn't make you an uncaring, selfish and arrogant person.

Having concerns about the direction this country is headed, doesn't make someone Hitler.

Help when you can. Family and people you know. They're the one's that really matter.

                                Good health.
