They had the advantage of being a top 3club in their country!

At under 2M they obviously were but now, without further investment, they will hit the same problems that we did. The owners don't have enough money to support going to the next level.

What's happened at Wrexham is brilliant, something all small clubs dream of,but this season they have really gambled the family silver, but good luck to them.
However if they were relegated, which is quite possible, they would be saddled with some very expensive players in league one in a still unfinished stadium.
Hope the yanks/Canadian have deep pockets.

Wrexham made over £50 profit last year. Mostly from American tours, TV deals and other publicity.
Ryan Reynolds has investments in formula 1, Gin and sold his stake in a telecoms company for £1.3 billion. I think they will be ok.

Other than the £2 million asking price. Wrexham came with a very loyal and passionate fan base.

Our fans suffer from apathy, entitlement and we have the 2 Sheffield clubs on our doorstep. We all know season ticket holders for them from maltby, thurcroft, kimberworth et al.

Wrexham doesn’t really have that either.

Ive been banging this drum for years:

He would sell RUFC this afternoon. But he will not sell RU Estates Ltd. Not for anything even closely related to its value. Even more so with the hotel plans.

The only real tangible asset RUFC has its Golden Share im the EFL.

Finally, can those who.keep mentioning the word; "investor' or "investment" please clarify what they mean. Investment means a realistic expectation of a return. Do they mean somebody simply gifting money to RUFC? Noone, bar the richest snd most passionate Miller, is going to do that.

TS has turned down offers previously to sell the club.

The only glimmer I can see is an outside party agreeing to inject money into RUFC on the proviso they enter into joint ownership of RU Estates. But that doesn't benefit TS financially in person.

At the very first fans forum I emailed setting out my potential worries about the club and stadium being divorced from one another. The question was not selected for discussion.

Nobody will invest if they do not have any say in the running of this club.It would be interesting to know what offers TS has turned down.
