I summarise it as: prepare for an average season otherwise known as "rebuilding". For the first time in years there doesn't seem to be much anticipation or excitement around the place. Most intriguing bit was about outside investment. Intriguing in the sense it posed more questions than it answered

Just out of interest, did anybody ask any searching questions about anything or did they all have to be submitted for vetting before the forum started?Originally posted by Tigerish View PostI summarise it as: prepare for an average season otherwise known as "rebuilding". Depends on the questions as been mentioned, TS wasn't there to answer the searching questionsOriginally posted by mellowmiller View PostJust out of interest, did anybody ask any searching questions about anything or did they all have to be submitted for vetting before the forum started?

TS has given up I think. At his age I think he's interested in protecting family assets and cash - it's very clearly a loosing gaming chucking money into football.
He publicly stated he had lost his mojo for it all prior to Evans.... Do we think sacking a friend that his board told him not once but twice not to hire did anything to encourage him?
I also don't blame him. Pockets aren't big enough to shop at football Harrods but he can actually shop there, as some of us can. Doesn't mean we can clean the place out as others in our league and certainly the champ can.

Mellow, I'm with you on this one and also why I no longer attend the forum. I once asked a searching question that never made it to the table. ALL questions are vetted and any that likely to cause a challenging case being answered are removed.Originally posted by mellowmiller View PostWhen he is there he doesn't allow searching questions anyway which is one reason why I stopped going to the forums.
If you recognise, there's no longer any roving microphones passed around.
It's one thing to organise and invite fans, those that help fund the club, to a forum meeting but, to make sure you're not challenged on anything that may cause a fluster/embarrassing situation and nullified isn't a fans forum it's a dictatorship.
Furthermore, very cleverly organised where the Chairman or his Son aren't present, masterstroke indeed, 'get out of jail free' as they say.

I obviously can't answer for Brin but a couple of years ago a friend of mine submitted a question by email (as was the protocol) asking what Tony Stewart's criteria was to allow outside investment in the club to give it more chance to be competitive in the Championship.Originally posted by KerrAvon View PostWhat was your searching question?
When proceedings had finished he asked why his question hadn't been posed and was told it was considered that the forum wasn't a suitable environment to raise such matters.
