I used to think/wish for the same with Hughill but he has had far too many opportunities now. His contribution to this club is right up there with Blackstock. Time he went but he wont because he's milking it. Baffles me how he hasnt had the same vilification as JCH.

This squad is not even a good L2 squad, if someone buys Nombe between now and the end of the window, then we will really struggle. We need 8 players at least to be capable of a top 10 finish and I think TS will support 5 additional players. How many players have left already if you look at EOC & loans is it 6 or 7? We have brought in 2 and we are excited in the press that we might announce a 3rd this week. The squad at the end of last season was at least 3 players light, the numbers and the quality do not lie, at this moment it is fair to say this squad is not fit for purpose.

MH has the opportunity to start building a squad. I don't buy he's on a small budget. Half the teams in league 1 are on a budget lower than what rufc spend. If he finishes lower than Evans did last season it will be a failure. Only person left for the glass half empty folk to blame will be TS... I'm sure some will try.

Spot on this. Adding to this the best 2 or 3 players have gone so I calculate we need a minimum of 8:

- 2 x CB
- 2 x FBs / WBs
- 2 x Midfielders
- 1 x Fwd
- 1 x Winger

I am ignoring the fact that we have signed a crocked/incapable fwd in terms of Kayode and have a waste of space up there in terms of Hughill. Anyone who thinks we are not in serious trouble already is blind.
