Cayton you've also missed out the fact Leam Richardson is still on the books and has not yet been paid off. I got this from his golfing buddy Saturday night. If you think that's bad, Leam is still being paid off by Wigan!Originally posted by caytonmiller View PostThat's easy to say M8 but there's a reason MH budget has been cut from 5 to 3 million. Jch, Evans, Raynor ect. They all need paying up and it only effects MH budget and our season ahead.

Good timing on that one Brin as tomorrow is Bobby Bonilla day. Who you might ask?
"The calendar has turned to July 1, and that means one thing: It's time for Mets fans everywhere to wish each other a Happy Bobby Bonilla Day! Why? On Monday, 61-year-old Bobby Bonilla will collect a check for $1,193,248.20 from the New York Mets, as he has and will every July 1 from 2011 through 2035."

I'm not sure what your hyperthetical question meansOriginally posted by MillersCrossing View PostWow! Are you saying that if, for example, SE had a budget of say, 7m, MH was initially offered 5m and this has since been cut to 3m?
Though When the books are released in 2 years it will imply a budget of 5million...

Always thought if the manager got another job past owed salary were stopped. Though I guess that depends on the contract agreement..Originally posted by Brin View PostCayton you've also missed out the fact Leam Richardson is still on the books and has not yet been paid off. So we could potentially add Matt Taylor to the list.

Ta. I see. But 2m of that 5m will have been spent on paying people off. Which is just what it is, I guess.Originally posted by caytonmiller View PostI'm not sure what your hyperthetical question means

My concern is that a few people in the last week or so have said that this 2m cut in budget has been sprung upon MH in the last couple of weeks. Which doesn?t help anyone?s strategic planning.
3m is a low budget, even for this division!

Btw M8. That figure of 5 mill to 3 million is not my figure. I'm just repeating the post from last week from someone on MM who has knowledge of goings on at the club.Originally posted by MillersCrossing View PostTa. I see. though I have heard from someone else at the club, the wage bill has been cut by 2 million. Though didn't specify what it was prior.
Plus a figure I was also told. . If we want to pay up hugill, jch, Raynor and Evans it will cost over 1.3 million.
Good or bad hugill doesn't want to be paid up. He wants to stay and fight for a place.

Ouch. Well let?s see what happens with JCH and if someone pays some of his wages at least. Re Hugill - good for him - he really should be able to offer something at this level. Hopefully MH&co cab tease that out. If he?s here, I?ll stand behind him.Originally posted by caytonmiller View PostBtw M8. That figure of 5 mill to 3 million is not my figure. Cayton, correct pal. Taylor took on the Bristol Rovers job so lost his right to further pay off payments where as, Richardson is still unemployed and being paid by both Wigan and Rotherham. Good on him and take the money while it's there. It won't be long before he's back in charge of a team, he's already turned one job offer down so all is still good for him.Originally posted by caytonmiller View PostAlways thought if the manager got another job past owed salary were stopped.
