    Great comeback. Poor first half

Glad I only saw the 2nd half. Great comeback and goals. Hope this lifts the team.

Shocking first half, a great comeback and very pleased that we are still in this competition and that we showed some bottle. Need to turn that into a good result on saturday

This squad appears to have finally realised that they have a bit of character about them, and not before time.

Spence getting 90mins something to take from the game. Showed we haven't got many options to change much. Good win in the end though.

Maybe the keyboard managers on the matchthread might learn to keep their powder dry in future 🙂

Think we need to find somebody better than Baptise in January ? We are very weak and vulnerable to any cross or long ball.
Also Yearwood managed 75 without having any involvement but surprisingly came to life in the last 15 !

Brave comeback but my god arenÂ’t we awful. LetÂ’s not forget Oldham are 15th in league 2.

We are a very poor side and even struggled against a very ordinary league 2 side. Worrying that our best players(not including the poor Baptiste) are loanees. Lose on Saturday and Stewart may well wield the axe(again).

A very useful workout. Two poorly conceded goals, but a great ralley in the second half.
Can anyone explain the idea behind these stupid kick-offs, please enlighten me.

Sherif and Etete are decent players but starting them together, and playing hoof ball to them doesn't work. None of them never win anything meaningful.
I said we'd win 4-2 at H/T,and i wasn't p!ssed either. They were knackered after putting everything into the 1st half.

.......but god, we make it hard for ourselves. Some much for our Academy producing the next batch of players.....where was Duncan, is he injured?

Jock ?Two poorly conceded goals ? but it?s the same EVERY match, we need some defenders ( men ) from somewhere quickly, we are not good enough to give teams a start ! What we need to recruit in January are some ?characters? some winners ? Ok I know it?s easier said than done ! but that?s the only way to survive !

Thinking the same if he's fit 2 centre backs at Northampton Duncan Jules. 4-5-1 with Sherif the lone forward.

It makes me laugh that you want to throw players in that you've barely ever seen play. He's 17 years old and playing youth football.

It's about time you realised that when the youngsters don't play (or even make the bench) it means they aren't ready or good enough.

Surely Mellow, thats the point of the 'match thread', and what differentiates it from the 'post match thread'? One is a 'in the here and now' live commentary which ebbs and flows with the game, the other is a commentary with full hindsight. Otherwise just have the one thread.
