  • Good News Story About Rotherham For A Change!

Not sure if the link will work. If not, I'm someone else will assist?

Makes a change have the name of Rotherham in national news and no mention of grooming gangs, obesity, town of full P..... type ****e that we get to hear all too often.

Indeed good news but with stories like this the improvement depends on your starting point.

I expect though if Waverley keeps expanding and improving that Sheffield will claim it?s part of them not Rotherham

Very encouraging for once and like GM says, no mentioning of our proud town because of negativity.

On the other hand why does the report have to mention sharing with neighbouring Sheffield? Catcliffe/Waverley is in ROTHERHAM and NOT in Sheffield!!

Don't give a flying frig we have a 'S' post code ......WE ARE ROTHERHAM!

Sheffield is rightly mentioned because of Hallam University and its growing reputation. If Rotherham can continue to succeed because of it has links with Sheffield then why not get on board and encourage the investments.

Are you sure it's not the University getting onboard with Rotherham Commerce success in order to boost their lowly intake figures?

Let's not split hairs, either way it's definitely raised the town's business profile.
