I was watching the Boro v Ipswich game last night with Boro 2-0 up and their keeper, time wasting, clearly held the ball for a good 12 seconds.
He had plenty of clear warning by the Ref but chose to push his luck and paid the price by conceding a corner. Well done that official and good to see this used to itys full potential in order to keep the game flowing.
Now we come to Dawson. I have told the group sat near me that he, Dawson, will give one of these corners away this season as he is so slow at releasing the ball. For those that watch the game today, see what I mean about Dawson and how close he pushes his luck with this new rule.
