Thought we played some decent stuff at times today, sat a bit too deep later on and invited pressure and so the inevitable nervous ending.
Still, I think recent results have shown we are improving.

Last week Vs Northampton 2nd half was a show of dominance and some class football. This week a total different game...
Martha is 12 month away (and 1 stone of muscle) from being a class footballer.
Dawson is slowly getting it.
Rafferty has some bite at the back. Jules is getting back to his best..
Gore is growing into a very good midfielder.
Spence did ok today, not motm for me but a popular choice.

Powell is wasted at lwb. He needs to be roaming to get the best from him.
And the pass completion. Only 60 % today which was the lowest of any winning team in the top 3 division. (Not checked league 2).

Was told at half time that most of the squad were suffering from this virus that’s going round. Hall was throwing up before the game plus benson was throwing up at halftime . Not a lot of quality on show but we showed grit and determination today so well done to the team .

Hugill has had his issues. Those are gone. You are only as good as your last game.

At about 70 mins he ran down the full back, the keeper and then the centre half
His face was agony personified.

The quality isn?t always there but today he gave his all.

Considering all the sickness, that the squad have been under the last two days, this was a remarkable result.Hammy had to change the formation a number of times before we kicked off.All played their part and we played like a team, defending in the later stages with grim determination.We are improving each match and playing a much better brand of football.Let's go on a run and climb up that table,we can do that with the quality players we have.

I will post exactly what I like about Hugill. He’s stolen a million pound plus from this club in the last few years. I’m not going to wave that because he run about with a bit of flu/covid for 70 mins.
