Great performance and result in the face of some adversity - well done lads!

Terrible advert for league one football. Dreary 90 minutes with very little flair on display. Not surprisingly the crowd was very very subdued

I will post exactly what I like about Hugill. HeÂ’s stolen a million pound plus from this club in the last few years. IÂ’m not going to wave that because he run about with a bit of flu/covid for 70 mins.

          Wake up
I used the word pathetic in relation to the comment you made. The word has more than one meaning, depending on the context.

I used it to express my sadness at your lack of consideration for Hugill's condition and lack of appreciation for his effort.

Take it Benson was illness not injury reason why he was replaced at half time? He's a miss. When all fit Spence for McWilliams in midfield. Get James Hall Sherif back hopefully at Barnsley & the squad are back well again should give us more quality there. Like I said 3pts well earned yesterday under the circumstances keeps the momentum going to kick-on this season.

Benson was tactical. He is a bit of a luxury. Good on the ball but doesn?t put his foot on and doesn?t graft.
Nombe came on for him and terrorised Omar Beckles. Ran the channels and shielded the ball well.

According to Paul Davis Benson was throwing up at half time, the original plan was to swap Martha for Nombe at half time

I thought both teams were very similar and cancelled each other out throughout most of the game. Orient's build up play was better than ours although until the last 10 minutes, I don't think Dawson had to make a meaningful save. Nombe was desperately needed to give us some threat up front and it was unfortunate that Benson had to be sacrificed. Really well worked goal with Rafferty and Baptiste playing key roles.

I wasn't aware of the illness throughout the squad so the victory was all the more impressive. If we can pick up three points under those constraints, the rest of the season should be bright!

                      I stand corrected Henson.

If I was hammy I?d have taken the credit for the sub.

It was the edge that was needed.

Benson is arguably our most talented player and along with others were suffering from this bug.I thought Spence had an excellent game and showed us "pass a ball and move" is very much in his locker. With Gore.Powell,Benson and Spence we have some young and very skillful players and the future is bright.

Scrappy first half. The game changer was Sam coming on. If he keeps fit, hopefully we will fly up the table, but he'll probably be sold in January.
I enjoyed it even if some of the moaning Minnies have picked holes in the performance. Edging closer to Donny, who have struggled since winning their cup-final.

MH doesn?t seem to have had enough credit. He?s had a tough start and has handled it with dignity and integrity. We?re in good hands again.

We won yesterday, great stuff, however certain posters wish we hadn't, then they could tell us how stupid we are and how sh*t the manager is.
                              Shame that.

To be honest with you Pocket the supporters know less than half of what is happening with the players and even less about the other stuff at the club.

It?s been a baptism which he has handled well but he feels it when it doesn?t go well.

His personal support network behind him is fantastic and I give them a lot of credit.
