The Swans v The Blues, 13th in the Championship versus 5th in the Premier League, an impossible task ahead you say.
We are 28 places and a division below on the EFL ladder, but the gap narrows somewhat in Cup games and can be a great leveller, ask Nottingham Forest.
Of course we are not expected to win and most of the sell out crowd will probably be coming to see Man City and hoping the goal machine Erling Haaland plays at some stage.
It?s a one off free hit for the Swans and realistically the players just need to go out and enjoy themselves playing against top opposition.
Many blue moons ago we used to play Man City regularly in the PL.
Those heady days are now gone but there is still one player left from that time and it is our reliable midfielder Jay Fulton, who is still called upon for Championship action.
Good luck to the Swans on Wednesday night and what will be will be.

Man City lost their first match in nine on Saturday to Aston Villa, may their bad run continue!!
Seriously though all the players can do is go out and give it their best shot.
With a capacity crowd behind them you never know, that’s the joy of Cup games.

Swans players gave their all and we took the play to the opposition and scored, but second half, with subs for both sides, ours weak, theirs strong, we started to sit back too deep and Man City pressed relentlessly, dominated and we faded.
Still, read the match reports it’s all there. An enjoyable night except for the score. A big crowd and playing a top team reminded us of our PL days which are sorely missed.

Big queue outside Rossi’s last night, half an hour wait for chips, car parks full, crowds in the street and outside the ground, great atmosphere inside.
The fans are there, they just need a winning side. Fair play though, the boys got stuck in last night and gave us the lead, but they just couldn’t sustain the press for the whole match and tired second-half and conceded late on. Players gave us some thrills and 100% effort which is all we can ask. We have no rich Arabs to pump oil riches into our club so we have to try and return to the Prem the hard way and stay within FFP rules.
It was an entertaining match though, play like that in the league and we will win matches.

I think the substitutions from both sides changed the game, theirs helped, but ours didn’t.
When you can bring on quality players like Stones and Foden and even rest Haaland it’s so hard to play against.
Never mind, we gave a good account of ourselves and now we can concentrate on the League.
