Sad news. There are around 65 clubs over 125 years old and Wednesday are one of 9 of these that was established over 150 years ago. Such clubs are surely not just businesses but an integral part of their towns and cities and part of our national heritage. I just hope that the quiet confidence of whoever spoke for their Sports Trust proves justified.

I agree Omeg.......it is sad to see a community based club go this way. The fans must be distraught....it could have been The Albion a few years back. They have already been deducted twelve points. I hope they manage to turn it around.
