It appears that notifications has been removed. Try as I might I cannot find a workaround in order to post a PM to anyone. Unless anyone else knows different. What a rubbish state of affairs if this facilty as been permanently removed if it has then its probably been done in order to stabilise the forum from continued crashing rather than creating a better a more user friendly interface.

The 'other' site has the message facility it would seem a bit of a cheek for us to use it. It would mean those in contention for the PL title would have to make a one off post in order to contact that user by clicking on their avatar.

There may be other alternatives we could access eg an email address? But as you say we'll see where the land lies nearer the time

Easy one to sort Phil/Bomber - nearer the time just set up a gmail so the email could be anything so protects the user.
