Caleb is part of the first team and has talked of wanting to push through the competition to play but you're right Q, the acquisition of Campbell will make this harder.

With Styles moving into midfield and no recruitment of a LB, it looks increasingly like Heggem will move back to the role where he initially impressed. With Furling at RB, we now have Phillips, Campbell (if we get him), Taylor and Bartley in contention for the two CB positions and Caleb may push himself in front of Bartley and get his opportunities yet. I hope so.

In terms of depth of squad, if rumours of Frabotta departing come true, we have 6 players to cover 4 defensive positions which is surely the minimum?

I think there are a lot of moving parts.

I’ll be surprised if we don’t sell one or two. Heggem is being courted and Bartley isn’t wanted if you believe the press. Taylor might also be in the shop window. Styles is also linked with a move away.

I do like how we operate in the market. We feel ahead and are actively searching for quality in different leagues.

Thats what I read that Heggem might be left back. Said it was his preferred position. Im sure I read before that it wasnt though. Either way we know he will do well in either position.
