Don't know Phil. I was going to respond to Greyhorse's last post but found it closed. Bit strange to close it but still show all the posts? Can't be arsed now anyway so I'll crack open a beer to try and drown out the disappointment of yet another loss. At least the view from my moral high-ground is quite nice

Likewise, I too am surprised that the offensive posts have not been removed.

I suspect, and I hope someone contacted Footie Mad, as I had been close to doing a few weeks ago due to a similar situation. However, as I am not known to people on here, I decided it was pointless and could not be bothered. I consider the offensive posts were libelous or bordering close to being so, so it is was sensible to close the thread. Unfortunately though, they failed to remove the posts.

I thought that it just might have been Mick as I believe that he is the only mod. Just shows that a mod is required even if it is rarely needed. Greyhorse (or whoever) was way out of order, unnecessary.

We regularly hear from Al and LB sharing their perspectives on ethnic minorities, which I often find quite one-sided and potentially offensive to those communities. Yet when I mention that a teacher might have been dismissed for wrongdoing and described them as racist, that?s considered ?nasty?? Since when did calling out racism become offensive?
It?s unfortunate the thread was closed. These discussions should stay open so we can find some common ground or reach a resolution. Shutting them down doesn?t help anyone. That said, it appears LB was the one who made the call to close it, perhaps that?s worth looking into.

Yeah yeah racism! Sunak must be racist then for saying the Police should have revealed the ethnicity of the grooming gang but failed to do so because of cultural and religious sensitivity. Bit of a mystery as we have no mods and Mick said he had no means of doing anything with the boards. If you click on REPORT above a thread it takes you to Contact us at footymad but it takes you nowhere else so one cannot report anything as far as i can see
