Seems they are on the floor with institutional bias so no surprise there. Known for left wing and woke reporting so no wonder it?s a mess.

The amount of people cancelling their licence fees is growing and don?t blame them - not just the money but all the crap they spout.

I bet the Tool Makers Son is putting forward a few names for suitable replacements 😂😂

I'm not doubting for moment that more than a few at the BBC are left leaning Al, but I'm going to have to beg to differ over the claims of institutional bias in terms of political reporting. I'm sure you may not agree with all of my post and that's absolutely fine but see what you think. Anyhow, hope you and yours are good

I don’t think that it is institutional bias, just that there are fare too many left leaning presenters and programme makers that are ‘to the left’ and they’ve been allowed to get away with bias for too long.

Agree with some of your post but the BBC sicken me with much left leaning and woke reporting. Trump is many things but stupid he?s not. As a professional purchaser myself when you have the power rightly or wrongly it can hugely be used to your advantage. Yes Trump is an advocate of fake news but my god he will use this to his advantage now. Are the BBC so naive? Clearly they are.

All these incidents with scum like Edwards, Wallace, Linekar etc have turned people?s stomachs. Linekar was the biggest hypocrite on the planet and it was fine for him when he pocketed millions from Qatar. The salaries they were paid was obscene.

The BBC should earn their money like everybody else. People are cancelling their licences or refuse to have them in the multiple thousands,

So no tears from me and hope they hit rock bottom.

Boring this weekend Omeg without footy but hey ho! Hope your well besides.

Not necessarily boring, there’s always non league to go and watch.

Good thanks Al. I'm off this week but sadly not going away anywhere so I'm sure the better half will find me some jobs to do 😞😂

Might check and see when any internationals are on that feature any of our lot though that I can watch. Who knows, they may even learn the art of converting corners? 😁

No thanks to England v Serbia on Thursday Omeg as the Mrs will want to watch Celebrity Race Around the World 😂. Not a fan though of the Kemp lad myself! Youngest daughter was in Chelsea on Saturday in the same shop next to Harper Beckham 😂

I am no fan of Trump, in fact the opposite, I despise the man. However, the BBC have acted appallingly regarding their actions. It is not, as they state, an error of judgement but a deliberate lie. They have the nerve to say that nobody complained at the time. Of course they did not because we believed what we saw on our screens. How can the public now believe anything that they state as fact? They have also played into Trumps hands and given him the moral high ground over this issue.

Mind you, this is not the only issue that the BBC have come under scrutiny over. I think that it is going to take a very long time before the public will have faith in, or trust them again.

Exactly that LB. Then there?s others like Edwards who was a dirty scum, Wallace, Linekar and Gaza misreporting.

Never would trust them again and they can stick their licence!

I never understand this logic of defunding the BBC. Nor the logic that they are left leaning.

The problem with the BBC is that it tries so hard to be impartial, it actually does more damage. Particularly on a subject where you have an expert on one side and a politician on the other (Brexit is a great example of this).

If they are so left leaning, why has Farage been on QT more often than pretty much anyone else in the last few years? And he is the first one to come out and lambast them.

I don't doubt they made errors here with this panorama program. And heads should roll because of it, but that is exactly what has happened. They actually do question themselves and have regulation. And they are a very trustworthy news source who have journalists with a lot of integrity, this is increasingly difficult to find these days.

And media outlets such as the Daily Mail would absolutely champion the demise of the BBC. Because it can then push their agenda on of misleading news reports to the masses....so that people can go around painting roundabouts and voting for self harming acts like Brexit!

Remember when we started hearing about "hate crimes"? Always had a lot of respect for BBC News both locally and nationally. Was listening to BBC South West News in a caravan at Dawlish Warren, where the presenter was discussing a "hate crime" inflicted on a fellow presenter. Horrendous story, but nearly word for word the same story I heard on BBC Midlands News a few weeks previous. Coincidence? Don't know, but haven't listened since.
