Sad news and although he hasn't been well for quite some time now, still somehow unexpected-especially since he only recently played his farewell gig in Brum.
At least he managed to come back home to play that last show and I'm sure he was proud to have been supported by a host of musicians who honoured him and Black Sabbath for the impact they had on their careers and the legacy they leave behind. Rest in Peace Ozzy.Comment

Not a great fan of heavy metal either Soulman, but can't deny that Sabbath had some classic songs with stuff like Iron Man, Paranoid, War Pigs etc. Ozzy's later solo stuff also contained some softer ballads though and as well as Changes I quite like the Beatle-esque Goodbye to Romance. His live Tribute album to guitarist Randy Rhodes is very good.Originally posted by soulman101 View PostComment
